Custom Windows and A Custom Entry Door System is the norm
Here are some unique bits of information about the Coto de Caza area if you are not already familiar. Coto, located in Southeast Orange County is comprised of more than 4,500 homes according to a suburban stats site. Furthermore, it is known as one of Orange County’s most expensive master-planned communities.
Although a large majority of the 5000-acre guard-gated private community is essentially tract housing, there are several sections of custom-built homes along the outskirts off the main streets. While Coto de Caza also includes a 355-acre rural community known as Los Ranchos Estates featuring about 75 large custom homes. It is so exclusive it is a completely separate private community located behind the main gates of Coto de Caza. You could say that homeowners opting for custom windows and a custom entry door system is the norm in this area of Coto de Caza.

History, Sports, and Stars
Formerly a hunting club and ranch frequented by none other than John Wayne, today nestled within the community there are a couple of 18-hole golf courses, spa and sports club, tennis and racket club, a polo arena, the 24 acre Coto Equestrian Center, and the Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park. In an effort to bring people to the area, Vic Braden opened a tennis academy there in 1984 to help promote the area and sport. During the 1984 Summer Olympics, the area hosted the men’s modern pentathlon events (5 events including shooting, fencing, horseback riding, swimming, and cross-country running) which helped get the community on the map. Coto de Caza community is made of approximately 14,000 people some of which are famous. Living in the area you will find major league baseball players, football players, golf, skiing, and sports figures. Even some musicians and actors, including one… many people may be familiar with, Vicki Gunvalson, one of the Original Housewives of Orange County. If the area looks familiar to you it is because the Coto de Caza community is the original setting of the reality-based Bravo TV series, The Real Housewives of Orange County.
